Wood Type Prints

Printed at the Hamilton Wood Type Museum, Tipoteca Italiana, and the Gutenberg Museum.

As letterpress printing can be used as a functional process, I've always had more fun blurring the lines between art & design, looking at the forms of the letters and creating pieces of art instead of communicating a message. The jewels of printing with wood type belongs to the imperfections of poor ink coverage, inconsistent pressure and a sexy wood grain.
